Matthew Patton, APRN-FNP

Matthew Patton, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Primary Care South and Rural Primary Care South in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. 

Matthew earned his Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from Samford University and his Associates Degree in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He then worked in the Emergency Department as Registered Nurse and completed his Masters of Science in Nursing at Troy University, with a focus in Family Medicine. 

Matt is passionate about providing holistic care to his patients by treating the individual patient and not just their symptoms. He is careful to listen to each patients’ needs and equip them also with health awareness, in order to help them actively achieve their best health outcomes. 

Outside of the office, Matt serves with his wife leading worship at their church. He also enjoys wood-working, traveling, and herding his two cattle dogs.
