Megan McClendon, CRNP

Megan McClendon, MSN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at Rural Primary Care South and Urgent Care South. 

Megan received her associate degree in nursing from Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, Mississippi. She worked as a registered nurse in emergency and intensive care settings. 

Enthusiastic to further her education, Megan earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After receiving her bachelor’s degree, she continued her education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, earning her Master of Science in Nursing as a family nurse practitioner. Currently, she is enrolled at Troy University, working to achieve her Doctor of Nursing Practice. 

Megan enjoys working in the rural setting and is passionate about forming connections with each of her patients. She desires to provide individualized care and treatment tailored to each patient’s needs.
