Michael Patton, D.O.

Michael T. Patton, DO, FACOI, is a board-certified osteopathic internist and the founder of Primary & Urgent Care South, which provides high-quality medical care to people in Foley, Alabama, and Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.

Dr. Patton brings more than 20 years of internal medicine experience to the practice. He began his career at the Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri, earning his medical degree.

Before entering private practice, Dr. Patton completed an internship at Carraway Methodist Medical Center (formerly Physicians Medical Center Carraway) in Birmingham, Alabama, and an internal medicine residency at Suncoast Hospital in Largo, Florida.

In Largo, Dr. Patton received training in various aspects of preventive and general medicine, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, lab testing, and diagnostic imaging.

Dr. Patton is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Osteopathic Association, the Alabama Osteopathic Medical Association, and the American College of Osteopathic Internists.

He has staff privileges at Princeton Baptist Medical Center and Brookwood Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama; Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, Alabama; and Ascension Sacred Heart in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.

At Primary & Urgent Care South, Dr. Patton works with patients six and older, including adults and senior citizens. He loves answering patient questions and developing personalized treatment plans that help people feel their best.
