Veronica Rodriguez, MD

Veronica Rodriguez, MD, MPH, is a board-certified family medicine physician at Primary & Urgent Care South, which provides preventive and general health care to people of all ages in Foley, Alabama, and Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.

Dr. Rodriguez began her career pursuit at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, earning her bachelor’s degree in biology and a minor in psychology. After graduation, she enrolled at St. George’s University School of Medicine in True Blue, Grenada, where she earned her medical degree.

The following year, Dr. Rodriguez returned to the University of Miami, receiving her master’s degree in public health as part of a one-year accelerated training program. She completed a family medicine residency at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Foley, Alabama.

During her residency, Dr. Rodriguez received extensive training, working in various departments, including the intensive care unit, the emergency room, and labor and delivery. There, she learned how to diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, taking a patient-centered approach.

At Primary & Urgent Care South, Dr. Rodriguez provides various preventive and general health services, including physical exams, Pap smears, and electrocardiograms (EKGs). Her friendly demeanor and compassionate bedside manner help patients feel relaxed.
